Is your literature DDA compliant?

The new Disabilities Discrimination Act (DDA) is now in force and clearly outlines compliance criteria for company information, affecting corporate brochures, newsletters, web sites, and just about all internal and external comms. Are you compliant?

Repercussions of non-compliance are potentially serious - with large fines for some and bad press for many. So not only does it make good business sense to ensure you’re mindful of large print and other aspects covered by the DDA - it also sends out a strong message to stakeholders that you’re a responsible corporate citizen.

It does need a lot of thought, and any efforts are welcomed by the powers that be, even small changes can be enough. We have developed some quick and easy wins for getting collateral and websites DDA compliant using electronic processes. Taking a sensible and practical approach is the key and we are happy to hand-hold any of our clients through the process.
